Our group is for photographers who take images using a LOMO camera. Out of focus, sometimes sharp, dream-like, surreal, haunting, scary, beautiful, colourful, dark and everything in between.
The fun of LOMO is that you can’t really plan or prepare for the outcome of your shots. You really don’t have any control over how they will turn out. This is not a club for people who are anal about their technique, set up, lighting etc…. This is for creative people on the go, who capture what they see, and sometimes what they don’t! This is not the place to show off your razor sharp macro shots, or your painstakingly set-up portraits. Point and Shoot. That’s about it!!
The following 10 Golden Rules were taken from lomography www.lomography.com

LOMO ON!
UPDATE
Hello members!
Today our second ever news feature was posted, focusing on our love for instant film dating back to toy-camera's start in 2004. Take a look: http://news.deviantart.com/article/63339/
In other news, our group has gotten over 60,000 pageviews and has 2500+ deviations now. Congrats!
:boogie::boogie::boogie::boogie::boogie:
I encourage you guys to start using our main page comment board to ask questions about cameras, film, etc. or to post any tips/tricks you have discovered in your lomographic adventures. Anything really (that is relevant). It'd be great if we became more of a community!
Anyway, as usual, LOMO on!

toy-camera Feature #2: (Polaroid) Instant Film
Hey all, welcome to toy-camera's second news feature! This time we are focusing on the group's instant film submissions dating back to toy-camera's start in 2004. Polaroid has been used and loved for many generations now, but as we all know this film has regrettably been discontinued. Fujifilm has a few substitutes available, but Polaroid itself is fading away fast. Here's to this incredible film!
Our group is dedicated to plastic fantastic goodness. This is not a group for your incredibly set-up shots taken with SLR cameras. For more information on lomography in general and joining the group, please see http://toy-camera.deviantart.com/jour

I would like to join this group. I am always looking for more lomo photos to view and would like to be able to be able to interact with others who also shoot with toy cameras. I just recently starting getting into toy cameras and am using the Pop9, the Pop Cam,the Holga CFN120, the Quad Cam, The Disderi Robot 3, The Golden Half Mountains Edition, and the Fisheye 2.
